Book a Navigator
“Book a Navigator” is a program of Benefits in Action designed to help individuals navigate the sometimes complex healthcare system. Here is how it works. You just fill out the “Book a Navigator” form and indicate a day, time, and location convenient for you to meet with a member of the Benefits In Action team. Then, you will receive a confirmation email regarding the appointment. Everything from determining eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, and the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, helping with preparation and submission of health benefit applications, and working with you one-on-one to ensure understanding of the benefits are all part of the program. In addition, Benefits in Action can help you find a primary care physician and/or connect you to available community resources important to your health. As a nonprofit, Benefits in Action offers these services at no cost to you. We know well that health insurance coverage alone does not guarantee access and understanding.
