Benefits Navigator I

The Benefits Navigator I will connect with consumers from the larger community in the Benefits in Action office, at a satellite location, or virtually. The objective will be to provide direct service to those clients in need of navigation, education, and/or application assistance. The Benefits Navigator I will aid individuals who need assistance navigating SNAP, MAGI Medicaid, or RTD LiVE, LiHEAP. Reports to the Manager of Adults and Families or their designee.

Benefits Navigator III

The Benefits Navigator III will connect with consumers from the larger community in the Benefits in Action office, at a satellite location, virtually, or via community representation and presentations. The objective will be to provide direct service to those clients in need of navigation, education, and/or application assistance. The Benefits Navigator III will provide for education, opportunities, and assistance to individuals in need of navigating specific benefits such as Long-Term Care Medicaid, Medicaid Home and Community Based Services, Social Security Disability, Medicare, Medicare Savings Plans, or Connect for Health Colorado. 

Benefits Navigator II

The Benefits Navigator II will connect with consumers from the larger community in the Benefits in Action office, at a satellite location, virtually, or via community representation and presentations. The objective will be to provide direct service to those clients in need of navigation, education, and/or application assistance. This position will provide education, opportunities, and assistance to individuals in need of navigating SNAP, MAGI Medicaid, LiHeap, RTD LiVE, cash assistance, CCCAP, Medicare Savings Programs recertification, or other community/government programs.

Benefits Navigator IV

The Benefits Navigator IV will connect with consumers from the larger community in the Benefits in Action office, at a satellite location, virtually, or via community representation and presentations. The objective will be to provide direct service to those clients in need of navigation, education, and/or application assistance.​​​​ The Benefits Navigator IV is responsible for managing at least one of Benefits in Action’s grants or contracts including data gathering and analysis and reporting to funder and Benefits in Action executive team.

Manager of Older Adults      and Homebound

The Manager of Older Adults and Homebound at Benefits in Action is responsible for the oversight of this pillar, including managing staff, volunteers, work schedules, and grant deliverables for Medicare, Medicaid waiver and buy in programs, oral health care.

Manager of Financial Programs

The Manager of Financial Programs at Benefits in Action is responsible for the oversight of this pillar, including managing staff, volunteers, work schedules, and grant deliverables for the pro-bono tax program, LEAP, financial wellness, disability and benefit planning, cash assistance, and state and county disability and older adult pension. This position is responsible for supervising navigator staff and volunteers to ensure compliance with program responsibilities, provide subject matter support and training regarding programs matching individuals with health, healthcare, and food and other resources that are available in the community.

Manager of Marketing and Communcations

The Manager of Marketing and Communications is responsible for the development, implementation and sustainment of the marketing and communication plan including social media, digital assets, fundraising communications, print and traditional media. The Manager will write and develop content, create, and implement digital assets and assist the leadership team with marketing of the organization, its programs and other tasks as needed.

Manager of Community Expansion

The Manager, Community Expansion, will research and analyze Colorado communities to develop focal points which will provide Benefits in Action services outside of the Denver metro area. The manager will develop collaborating relationships with organizations in those communities to provide navigation and application assistance to older adults.

Manager of Adults and  Families

The Manager of Adults and Families at Benefits in Action is responsible for the oversight of this pillar, including managing staff, volunteers, work schedules, and grant deliverables for Mental Wellness, Justice Involved, Unhoused, Connect for Health Colorado, Family benefits, and MAGI Medicaid.

Director of SNAP

The Director of SNAP at Benefits in Action is responsible for oversight of outreach, education, navigation, and application assistance for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and for managing and reporting the grant funding that supports this program at Benefits in Action.

Director of Programs

The Director of Programs at Benefits in Action is responsible for oversight of all benefit navigation programs. The pillars of benefit navigation are: Older Adults/Homebound, Adults and Families, and Financial Assistance. Each of these pillars has 5-7 program areas within the pillar.

Director of Strategic Engagement and Outreach

The Director of Strategic Engagement and Outreach at Benefits in Action is responsible for oversight of Marketing and Communications, Community Expansion, Serve Spot, and Development. This position will be responsible for setting the course for Benefits in Action for future years through the development and implementation of a marketing and communication plan, a development plan, and a plan for community expansion of the organization. 

Director of Operations and Vendor Management

​The Director of Operations and Vendor Management at Benefits in Action is responsible for the operation of the organization, including finances, grant management, human resources, volunteer management, telephonic programs, and food delivery and warehouse management.  Many of these responsibilities are currently outsourced and the Director will manage those contracts and relationships.
