Mental
Wellness

Are you feeling isolated?  Disconnected?  Looking for a safe place to talk?  You are not alone.  The COVID-19 pandemic has left many individuals feeling lonelier and more disconnected than ever.  Benefits in Action provides mental wellness support through individual Connectedness Calls, a bi-weekly Caring Connections Group, and a Music Therapy Group.  See the descriptions below to get connected!

Connectedness Calls

Our Connectedness Volunteers call individuals weekly to check in with them, have a conversation, and make sure they are doing okay.  If you would like to receive weekly connectedness calls, please email info@benefitsinaction.org or call 720-221-8354.

Music Therapy Group

Interested in music? Curious about the connection between music and mental health? Come to our music therapy group and learn more about how music can help our physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs. Everyone has something to offer the group and you do not need to be “musical” to join. There is no cost and it is open to adults in Colorado.

Caring Connections Group

Join us on Tuesdays at 10:00 AM every other week for our Caring Connections Group. Meet with friendly peers, a licensed social worker and a resource navigator to talk through your experiences in a safe space. There is no cost to join and it is open to adults in Colorado.

Emergency?

If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.  For other mental health help, see the Crisis Text Line or Colorado Crisis Services.
